At our last event, over 150 solo femmes showed up—and that’s no accident.NSFW was built through a solo femme lens—by someone who’s been there: shy, curious, craving safety and connection. Our founder took years of experience amd studies and used IT to create the space she wished existed. And the result? A vibe that’s changing the game.
And yes, it’s no secret—we’ve faced pushback.There have been challenges, critics — even HARASSMENT AND threats — from those who don’t want to see a femme-led, pleasure-positive space CHALLENGE THE STATUS QUO AND thrive. And we keep going and we continue to thrive, with 600+ registered for our last event in febuary 2025.

She’s known for consciously spacing her events AIMING TO LEAVE A FEW WEEKENDS IN BETWEEN WITH NO OTHER LARGER FORMAT NIGHTCLUB PARTIES to avoid direct clashes with other similar parties — because she understands that with rising costs, patrons often want to attend all the major events BUT MOST NEED TO SPREAD THEM OUT, just like she once did. If a clash ever occurs, please know Ally can only be accountable for her own planning — not how other organisers choose to set their dates.
She genuinely believes there’s room for all great hosts, and that when event operators lead with respect, collaboration, and care, everyone wins: the patrons, the organisers, and the scene as a whole.

SHE'S the OG FOUNDER AND driving force behind NSFW Events, and if you’ve ever been to one, you’ve probably felt her influence in the details. With a rare mix of business brains, bold ideas, and a deeply caring nature FOR PEOPLE, SOCIAL IMPACT AND COMMUNITY, Ally brings something this space has been craving for a long time: proven event management experience with purpose, PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS AND A UNDERSTANDING OF THE SOLO FEMME EXPERIENCE.
She’s been a force from the beginning, WITH UNQUESTIONABLE DRIVE AND WORK-ETHIC—starting work in hospitality at just 14 years and 9 months, and managing hospitality venues by the time she was 19. ALL WHILE EXPLORING MELBOURNE'S NIGHTLIFE SCENE FROM 16 BY HER FIRST BOYFRIENDS SIDE, SUPPORTING HIM AT DJ GIGS AND HELPING on the ground at events.
Built different — not loud, not flashy. Just laser-focused, wildly effective, and hOLDS HERSELF to a PROFESSIONAL standard most wouldn’t dare. Her work ethic? Rare, A-grade, and deeply respected. It’s not just work to her — it’s care, excellence, and refusing to cut corners where QUALITY matters most.
Although she’s always been someone who learns on the job —often diving into new roles long before pursuing formal study IN AN AREA—Ally deeply values theory, frameworks, and MAXING OUT EFFICIENCIES WITHOUT SACRIFICING QUALITY. She’s studied business management, hospitality management, retail operations, marketing, and event management, along with many other areas through short courses to continually expand her business toolkit. She genuinely can’t remember a year where she hasn’t completed at least one SHORT course to upgrade her knowledge.
Her love of learning, curious mind, and drive for excellence are clear in everything she does. It’s this combination of real-world experience and structured learning that has allowed her to consistently deliver exceptional results across hospitality, business, telecommunications, tech, marketing, events, and leadership roles—at every brand she’s been part of.
By her mid-20s, Ally was already holding director, GM, and C-level roles—often in male-dominated industries, and in positions typically reserved for those twice her age. By her late 20s, after managing events for Melbourne University, VOLUNTEERING AT YOUTH-FOCUSED SOCIAL IMPACT DRIVEN EVENTS, LEADING ENTREPRENEUR FOCUSED EVENTS AT SWINBURNE UNI/ MELBOURNE UNI PLUS MANY MORE, contributing to the Ronald McDonald Charity Gala Ball, and making an impact across a range of high-profile events, she launched her own event business—one that took the business world by storm and earned widespread praise for its influence on the entrepreneurial community. In her 30s, she added a successful marketing agency to the mix. And now? She’s building a second events business—this time, pouring her energy into a community she truly believes in, ONE SHE KNEW COULD BENEFIT FROM HER EXTENSIVE EXPERIENCE. A legacy of events that feel as good as they look—NSFW being her boldest, most personal move yet.
But what makes NSFW truly different? It’s the only event of its kind founded and led by a solo femme—and that matters. Ally has navigated the lifestyle space as a solo femme herself, and she experienced the gaps firsthand at some of the events she attended: parties thrown together without real intention, lacking proper understanding of event management principles and little to no safety infrastructure in place to protect patrons.
Many existing spaces felt exclusive and intimidating for solo femmes, often heavily geared towards couples and older demographics—leaving younger femmes without a place to explore their desires with confidence and care. What was missing was a space to freely and safely explore sexuality, one that genuinely reflected modern, evolving ideas around self-exploration, connection, community, sex, and consent. So, Ally created what was missing: a space where solo femmes are the first thought—not an afterthought.
Ally also recognised the crucial importance of leadership centred on emotional intelligence and inclusivity. In today’s world, approximately 15% of people are neurodivergent, experiencing neurological differences such as autism, ADHD, or dyslexia. Furthermore, up to 70% of individuals have endured some form of trauma in their lives. These significant numbers highlight why adopting a neurodiverse and trauma-informed approach isn’t merely considerate—it’s essential. By acknowledging and respecting these diverse experiences, we build safer, more inclusive spaces where everyone feels seen, supported, and empowered to explore and connect on their own terms. This approach breaks down barriers, fosters genuine trust, and ensures our community thrives on compassion and understanding.
NSFW delivered its first event in November 2023—born from Ally’s desire to lead the way for solo femmes to explore their sexuality without stigma. She has never followed the traditional path, nor allowed “what’s normal” to hold her back. When she saw that virtually no lifestyle or nightclub events were led by solo femmes, she didn’t see a barrier—she saw an opportunity. Ally set out to carve a new path—blending well-respected professional experience, a proven track record of leading industries from the front, and deep community care. For her, changing the game isn’t the exception—it’s the expectation.

This month, we welcomed a new partner into the business WHO IS TRYING US ON FOR A MONTH BEFORE WE PUT A FORMAL RING ON IT— someone who not only complements Ally by bringing something different to the table, but who also shares her unwavering values around ethical leadership and guest safety.
She brings a genuine, grounded care for people, a win-win mindset, and a fierce desire to protect and uplift the femme experience in this lifestyle space — not just for patrons, but for the many femme leaders who exist beyond Ally. While THEY ALL TYPICALLY work alongside their male-presenting partners, they still need that sisterhood support — the kind that only happens when women truly lift each other up.
It’s a type of leadership and solidarity our community is craving — and desperately needs.
Ally has stood firm her entire career on working only with values-aligned collaborators. She doesn’t make decisions for vanity, clout, or trend-driven appeal. In fact, she’s turned down countless opportunities — including a major joint event offer from one of the biggest names in Melbourne’s non-lifestyle nightlife scene. A brand that would have offered instant prestige and credibility by association.
But for Ally, no level of influence or visibility is worth compromising on ethics. If a leader operates from a “what can I get” mentality — at the expense of others — she simply won’t work with them.
This new partner reflects the exact opposite of that AMD MATCHES ALLYS WIN WIN APPROACH. Her integrity and community-first focus are already felt — and we’re incredibly lucky to add her strength to our powerhouse team.
She’s currently undergoing a full onboarding process to get familiar with our systems, teams, and culture. And soon, she’ll step into a front-of-house leadership role AT OUR CONVENT OF SIN EVENT — helping us continue to deliver the high-quality, high-integrity guest experience we’re known for.
And she’s just the beginning.
We’re officially opening the door to more aligned solo femme collaborators and potential partners who can help us take things to the next level.
Why Now?
Because Ally has always been the engine room — the one building behind the scenes, running operations, leading marketing, curating every event detail, and holding the vision steady. That’s where her genius shines. And to keep growing, she needs to stay focused on doing exactly that.
That’s right — despite a competitor-led campaign to damage this community and the entire lifestyle eco-system in the process, including efforts to buy out this brand and effectively push Ally out of the space, she’s still here. She’s still showing up. Because for Ally, this work has always been about the people it serves — and that deserves our support.
She’s continuing in the role she’s always held: leading back-of-house operations for a community she deeply loves.
While NSFW already has a larger front-of-house team than other lifestyle events — built intentionally to allow Ally to focus on backend leadership — ten events in, it’s become clear that our structure needs to evolve. The old model for managing front-of-house, where no one sat above team leads and crew, simply isn’t sustainable.
And let’s be real: the COMPETITOR-LED attacks have been relentless. Behind the scenes, the toll of protecting the brand, changing venues to avoid sabotage, navigating threats TO HARASSMENT, and holding the line through continuous pressure has been mentally, emotionally, and energetically exhausting.
ALLY Deserves to Be Protected AND SUPPORTED BY STRONG PARTNERS, Ally is our leader — but she’s also human.
And what she’s created here is rare, IT FEELS DIFFERENT AT NSFW BECAUSE IT IS. It deserves to be protected. She deserves to be protected. Her impact on this space has been deeply felt by hundreds of femmes and first-timers who, often for the first time, have felt safe, seen, and celebrated.
And we can’t afford to lose that. Losing Ally — and the innovative contributions she brings to this space — would be more than a personal loss. IIt would be the lifestyle community taking a step backwards — just as we’re finally moving forward.
In recent years, we’ve seen real innovation in this space. Events are beginning to reflect a broader cultural shift: one that’s more sex-positive, more inclusive, and finally honouring femmes not just as guests, but as leaders and visionaries.
More and more women are waking up to the truth that exploring and embracing their sexual desires isn’t something to be ashamed of — it’s something to be proud of. And what Ally has built here helps make that possible.
And when one event raises the bar — in safety, consent culture, event design, or guest experience — it naturally encourages others to step up too. That ripple effect is what drives the whole scene forward. It brings the best-practice, most community-minded events to the forefront — and that’s where real progress lives.
