NSFW was built through a solo femme lens—by someone who’s been there: shy, curious, craving safety and connection. Our founder took years of experience amd studiesd in events, hospitality, and community building and used it to create the space she wished existed. And the result? A vibe that’s changing the game.
And yes, it’s no secret—we’ve faced pushback.
There have been challenges, critics — even threats — from those who don’t want to see a femme-led, pleasure-positive space thrive. And while not everyone always shows up, we keep going and we continue to thrive, with 600+ registered for our last event in febuary 2025. Because we believe in this scene, in the people who do show up, and in the work it takes — full-time, behind the scenes — to keep these spaces alive. Because this is bigger than just a party.
It’s a space where solo femmes lead, and everyone respectful is welcome to play. Couples, playmates, and vouched-for solo men are part of the mix—but our core will always be the solo femmes who show up with power, curiosity, and courage. We're are showing the scene what we want and putting our pleasure first.

Ally is known for her unique approach to leadership and business growth—one that consistently places the brands she touches at the forefront of their industries. HER BUSINESS AND COMMUNITY GROWTH ABILITIES IS what she’s most recognised for OVER THE COURSE OF HER CAREER: delivering high-impact growth through a blend of strategic thinking, innovation, and deep emotional intelligence. But for Ally, growth isn’t just about scale—it’s about people. She believes in responsible growth, which means expanding with intention, integrity, and care for the wider ecosystem around her.
In every business she’s been part of—especially those rooted in community—Ally has always recognised that brands don’t operate in a vacuum. They exist within networks of people, culture, and shared spaces. That’s why she approaches every project with a deep respect for the communities it touches. In her eyes, growing well means making sure no one gets left behind or trampled in the process.
In the lifestyle and events space, Ally backs this up with action. She’s known for consciously spacing her events to avoid direct clashes with other similar parties (SO IF THERE IS A CLASH PLEASE KNOW ALLY CAN ONLY BE RESPONSIBLE FOR HER PART AND NOT HOW OTHER OPERATORS APPROACH THEIR DATE PLANNING), knowing that rising costs make it difficult for patrons to attend everything—and they shouldn’t have to choose. She believes there’s room for all good hosts, and that when event operators lead with respect, collaboration, and care, everyone wins: the patrons, the organisers, and the scene as a whole. WHY BE WIN AND LOSE OUTCOME FOCUSED WHEN WE CAN BE WIN-WIN OUTCOME DRIVEN.
For Ally, competing ethically means adding more value, not playing dirty. Innovation, not imitation. Community, not ego. Her love for people isn’t a brand position—it’s a way of operating. And she lives it, relentlessly.
Ally is the OG FOUNDER AND driving force behind NSFW Events, and if you’ve ever been to one, you’ve probably felt her influence in the details. With a rare mix of business brains, bold ideas, and a deeply caring nature FOR PEOPLE, SOCIAL IMPACT AND COMMUNITY, Ally brings something this space has been craving for a long time: proven event management experience with purpose AND A SPACE FOCUSED ON THE SOLO FEMME EXPERIENCE.
She’s been a force from the beginning, WITH UNQUESTIONABLE DRIVE AND WORK-ETHIC—starting work in hospitality at just 14 years and 9 months, and managing hospitality venues by the time she was 19. ALL WHILE EXPLORING MELBOURNE'S NIGHTLIFE SCENE FROM 16 BY HER FIRST BOYFRIENDS SIDE, SUPPORTING HIM AT DJ GIGS AND HELPING on the ground at events.
Although she’s always been someone who learns on the job —often diving into new roles long before pursuing formal study IN AN AREA—Ally deeply values theory, frameworks, and best practices. She’s studied business management, hospitality management, retail operations, marketing, and event management, along with many other areas through short courses to continually expand her business toolkit.
Her love of learning, curious mind, and drive for excellence are clear in everything she does. It’s this combination of real-world experience and structured learning that has allowed her to consistently deliver exceptional results across hospitality, business, telecommunications, tech, marketing, events, and leadership roles—at every brand she’s been part of.
By her mid-20s, Ally was already holding director, GM, and C-level roles—often in male-dominated industries, and in positions typically reserved for those twice her age. By her late 20s, after managing events for Melbourne University, VOLUNTEERING AT YOUTH-FOCUSED SOCIAL IMPACT DRIVEN EVENTS, contributing to the Ronald McDonald Charity Gala Ball, and making an impact across a range of high-profile events, she launched her own event business—one that took the business world by storm and earned widespread praise for its influence on the entrepreneurial community. In her 30s, she added a successful marketing agency to the mix. And now? She’s building a second events business—this time, pouring her energy into a community she truly believes in, ONE SHE KNEW COULD BENEFIT FROM HER EXTENSIVE EXPERIENCE. A legacy of events that feel as good as they look—NSFW being her boldest, most personal move yet.
But what makes NSFW truly different? It’s the only event of its kind founded and led by a solo femme—and that matters. Ally has navigated the lifestyle space as a solo femme herself, and she experienced the gaps firsthand at some of the events she attended: parties thrown together without real intention, lacking proper understanding of event management best practices or knowledge-based frameworks; poorly executed concepts and event design; and little to no safety infrastructure in place to protect patrons.
Many of these spaces felt exclusive, intimidating for solo femmes, or heavily geared towards couples and older demographics—leaving younger femmes without a space to explore with confidence and care. What was missing was a space to explore sexual desires freely and safely, and one that truly reflected modern, evolving ideas around self-exploration, connection, community, sex, and consent.
So, she created what was missing: a space where solo femmes are the first thought—not an afterthought.
NSFW delivered its first event in November 2023—born from Ally’s desire to lead the way for solo femmes to explore their sexuality without stigma. She’s never followed the traditional path, and she’s never let “what’s normal” stop her. So when she saw that virtually no lifestyle or nightclub events were being led by solo femmes, she didn’t see a barrier—she saw an opportunity.
Ally set out to carve a new path—one that blends well-respected professional experience, a proven track record of leading industries from the front, and deep community care. Because for her, changing the game isn’t the exception—it’s the expectation.
This is more than a party. It’s a COMMUNITY FOR EVERYONE ALIGNED WITH OUR COMMUNITY PRINCIPALS ( THESE ARE LISTED IN THE FOOTER OF OUR WEBSITE), A FEMME FIRST FOCUSED space rooted in consent culture, curated experience, and inclusive design.
A space where solo femmes don’t just attend—they lead. At our most recent event, over 150 solo femmes showed up— THE UNHEARD OF NUMBERS ARE clear proof that this SOLO FEMME LED space was long overdue.

She’ll be stepping into a front-of-house leadership role, helping us continue to deliver the elevated guest experience we’re known for.

Because Ally has always been the engine room — the one building behind the scenes, running operations, leading marketing, curating every event detail, and holding the vision steady. That’s where her genius shines. And to keep growing, she needs to stay focused on doing exactly that.
That’s right — despite a competitor-led campaign to damage this community and the entire lifestyle eco-system in the process, including efforts to buy out this brand and effectively push Ally out of the space, she’s still here. She’s still showing up. Because for Ally, this work has always been about the people it serves — and that deserves our support.
She’s continuing in the role she’s always held: leading back-of-house operations for a community she deeply loves.
While NSFW already has a larger front-of-house team than most lifestyle events — built intentionally to allow Ally to focus on backend leadership — ten events in, it’s become clear that our structure needs to evolve. The old model for managing front-of-house, where no one sat above team leads and crew, simply isn’t sustainable.
And let’s be real: the attacks have been relentless. Behind the scenes, the toll of protecting the brand, changing venues to avoid sabotage, navigating threats, and holding the line through continuous pressure has been mentally, emotionally, and energetically exhausting.
Why She Deserves to Be Protected
Ally is our leader — but she’s also human.
And what she’s created here is rare. It deserves to be protected. She deserves to be protected. Her impact on this space has been deeply felt by hundreds of femmes and first-timers who, often for the first time, have felt safe, seen, and celebrated. AND WECANT AFFORD TO LOSE THAT.
Protecting Ally means protecting the future of this lifestyle space. It means backing an evolution that centres safety, consent, creativity, and care — and choosing responsible growth over the outdated tactics we’ve seen before.
Because the old way? The one where EXISTING operators tear each other down RATHER THAN FOCUS ON INNOVATING TO ENSURE THEIR ONGOING PLACE IN THIS SPACE, act unethically, or damage other organisers just to “win”? That harms the very people we’re meant to serve. It slows momentum, fractures trust, and holds the entire space back.
NSFW is part of a new chapter. One that believes we all rise when we focus on value, integrity, and collective good. This movement is growing — and we’re proud to help set the standard for how to do it better.A New Era, Rooted in Legacy.
Freeing up Ally’s role now creates space for a future where she may step back entirely — remaining as a small shareholder, supporting key areas of back-of-house operations, or perhaps moving on altogether.
Ally has other creative and purpose-driven projects SHE WANTS SPACE TO WORK ON ALONGSIDE HER SERVING THIS COMMUNITY, and she deserves to follow the path where she IS HONOURED FOR HER CONTRIBUTIONS, can serve with the most joy, peace, and impact.
This is a growth phase. One built on legacy, community, and aligned leadership.
